Interesting facts have surfaced regarding the motion filed by Tanesha Nicole Dykes of Bonaire for increased child support payments. According to a story in the Houston Home Journal, Jay Jenkins, aka Young Jeezy was ordered to pay $178 a month on March 30, 2001 after paternity of the child was established. But here's the interesting part: 8-)Tanesha changed the boy's birth name, which originally began with a J, to a name which begins with a T -- after the boy was born. On Oct. 7, Jeezy filed a motion through his Atlanta attorney to have the boy's name changed back to the birth name. I should point out that I spent a day with Jeezy and his son back in June of this year and when I called the boy his name, he gave me the J name. How confusing it must be to have both your mother and father refer to you by 2 different names. Jenkins’ motion also asked the child’s last name be changed from Dykes to Jenkins. According to the article, Jeezy agreed there should be some change in child support but not a substantial one, since he only released his record in late 2005 and has not received any royalties from his recording career. story from sister2sister magazine/jamie foster brown
